I discovered a passion for fitness after leaving a teaching career to be home with my kids-it started 17 years ago with Jillian Michaels DVD’s and push-ups on my knees. After several years I decided I wanted to work out in a group setting-it makes it more fun and I love the accountability. I’ve completed many races, including 10 1/2 marathons-running will probably always be my favorite, but I know how important strength training is, especially for women as we age. I’m always up for abs, but my favs are pushups and pull-ups! I truly love to workout-the results are just a bonus. Staying consistent with my workouts and nutrition keeps me on track. Michelle was born in Spain and raised in Puerto Rico. She moved with her parents and sister to Pennsylvania when she was 16. Her Penn State student teaching experience brought her to Hershey, where she never expected to fall in love with her husband, her job and the sweetest place on earth. She has been coaching fitness classes for the past fourteen years. She is drawn to the supportive, positive and safe environment and calls it her second family. This sense of family “fitspiration” is what brought her to CrossFit Gamma.
In 2015, CrossFit Gamma opened its arms to a new twist on high intensity interval training and G-HIIT was born.
G-HIIT is a small group personal training class that focuses on challenging each individual’s fitness levels while building up their stamina and endurance. The atmosphere

I have trained as a competitive athlete in Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, CrossFit, and Ultra Marathons. I have been training athletes since 2012 for various sports and goals from D1 Cross Country, Soldiers training for rigorous schools, recent injury rehab graduates, and everything in between. I use my experience as an athlete and trainer to create a training experience that is simple, efficient, and effective.

Growing up I was a multi sport athlete and that has carried over into play rugby for a local club. Through a long list of injuries I’ve come to embrace using multiple forms of exercise to reach my personal health goals.
